HZ BASS REPLACEMENT PICKUPS

SINGLE COIL SERIES PICKUPS
The T set is our direct replacement system for Telecastersۢ that will make any player wonder why they didnt make the switch before now. What distinguishes the EMG T set is the pure beefy twang that you get from the bridge pickup (RT), and the complimentary clarity and warmth of the neck pickup (FT), all with ultra quiet operation. To get this great range of tonal characteristics, we designed both these pickups with Alnico magnets and custom engineered coil size and windings which give a fullness and broader bandwidth that Tele pickups never had before. All of this combines to give you a tone that is incredibly well balanced; rich and sweet on the bottom, and a top end that shimmers with just enough bite. Whether you want that hard-edged blues rock Teleۢ sound, or beautiful vintage clean Teleۢ twang, you can get it all with this set.
Swap the Alnico V magnets of our regular T set with ceramics and you have the TC. This two-pickup system is geared toward the high end with less emphasis on the mids. The TC features a bright, clear, penetrating high end that's as naturally bright as we could design it without losing the harmonic sweetness typical of EMG designs. All in all, it's a tight, bright, aggressive sound.

Our design has a very low ratio of resistance to inductance, which increases low frequency response, while the radiused ceramic bar magnet endows the tone with tight mid-range punch and dynamic high end response, all with less noise and more signal. So whether you play fretted or fretless bass, playing live or in the studio, you'll get an incredible full sound to get the job done.
The JV uses a mixture of old, new, and late model design ideas and was developed to deliver the classic tone and look of the traditional Jazz Bass*. It still maintains the ''faded'' attack of the offset pole pieces in combination with our lowest noise preamp. The JV should appeal to the ''retro'' in you, while the coil and electronic design will convince you that this is a pickup to be seriously considered.
The JA is a new bass pickup option based on one of our originals, the J. This new addition differs in that it uses Alnico V magnets instead of the ceramic magnets of the original. Because the JA utilizes Alnico V magnets coupled with short, squat coils, the tone is endowed with openness and warmth for a more vintage tone, all with less noise and more signal. We have no doubt that the new JA, with its natural presence, powerful lows, expansive midrange, and superior definition, will be as successful as its predecessor.
